Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and UNDERWRITTEN LLC (“Underwritten,” “we,” “us”) for the Underwritten game on iOS, Android, and playunderwritten.com.
1. License
The game is licensed, not sold. We own the software, art, text, and marks. You get a personal, non-transferable license to play on devices you own or control.
2. Purchases
The game is free to download. Optional one-time purchases (including Founder’s Edition and Remove Ads) are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles payment, taxes, and refunds. Restore Purchases is in the app.
3. No gameplay lock
Career, firm, and other systems stay playable without a purchase. Purchases add extras only.
4. Saves
Saves may live on the device. We are not responsible for lost progress from deleted apps, device changes, or failed restores.
5. Acceptable use
Do not cheat, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or attack the service. We may suspend access for abuse.
6. The simulation
Underwritten is fiction. It is not insurance, legal, tax, or investment advice.
7. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is.” We do not promise it will be error-free or always available.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, UNDERWRITTEN LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost progress or profits. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid us for the game in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing.

Purchases also follow Apple’s and Google’s terms.
